You may remember these good looking peeps… FROM YESTERDAY! Chris and Callie made the trip from California with their close friends and family to celebrate their marriage in Elk Rapids. This was a small, intimate wedding in the backyard of Callie’s parents home with the reception at the Elk Rapids Pavilion inside of the marina. I love each personal touch that was added to this special day for Chris and Callie. Congrats to the happy couple and may God bless your marriage!

Dinner selections came from the cities that Chris and Callie spent a lot of time in. The food was AMAZING!

Chris and Callie were a blast to hang out with during their engagement session in Elk Rapids. After an amazing wedding weekend, Liz and I met up with Nick in Lindsay to photograph there engagement session in Elk Rapids, MI. We had a great time hanging out with these two, so much that they gave me a good case of the Monday’s! Just hanging out with them for the little time that we did gave me a good taste of how their wedding is going to be, AMAZING! I look forward to seeing these two again in September!

The response for the “The Best of Weddings 2009″ Competition was incredible with over 1,000 total votes. So I thought it would only be right to have the same competition with engagements, and senior photos (next week) as well. Below I have selected two photographs from each engagement session that I personally LOVE! It was hard enough for me to choose the best two photographs from each engagement so I am leaving it up to you, your friends and family to vote for the set photographs you like the most. The polls will open today and will remain open until 11:59PM Friday February 12th so be sure to cast your vote within that time frame. WOW! Time and time again, I look back and I can only think how incredible the 2009 wedding season was. It was filled with awesome people, good times, great food and everlasting love. Liz and I are so fortunate to be in a occupation where we get to see love in its beginning stages meet the people we did this past wedding season. In fact, we feel so blessed that we want to give back to one lucky couple. Below I have selected two photographs from each wedding that I personally LOVE! Elk Rapids, MI Wedding Photos – Will & Bernie

A couple of weeks ago Liz and I had the privilege of photographing Will and Bernie’s Elk Rapids wedding. These two were so much fun to hang out with and their bridal party was a ton of fun as well. The day was filled with traveling in a camper from the ceremony, Wild Bill’s Root Beer and more than enough love from their friends and incredibly large family. I mean come on, they had their 93 year old grandma on the dance floor towards the end of the night and she was tearing it up. Congratulations to you both Will and Bernie and may your Marriage be blessed.

There is nothing like taking photos of an amazing couple to kick off your Fourth of July weekend. Hanging out with Will and Bernie last Friday to photograph their engagement session in Elk Rapids, MI is just what Liz and I needed before moving into our new house. Will and Bernie actually pointed out a couple of places where Liz and I could go used furniture shopping. This small little town has a lot to offer we found out. These two were a lot of fun to hang out and we can’t want to see you guys again to photograph your wedding in August!
