Photos from David & Lisa’s Winter Engagement Session in Mount Pleasant, MI

Though it may be cold outside, the subzero temperatures just can’t put a damper on the love that is in the air. A couple of weeks ago David, Lisa, Liz and I set out to take some engagement photos in downtown Mount Pleasant, which to my surprise had a lot to offer as for backdrops. The day wasn’t as cold as Joe and Erin’s engagement session, but it still wasn’t a nice Spring day outside, though the sun did poke through the clouds every once and a while.

David and Lisa are two very out going people. Usually I sort of coach couples for a little bit, where to stand, what to do, how to look, and then they just start to act natural, love on each other and I’m just capturing the moments. Well these two, right from the get go, were just being themselves without me coaching at all. If anything, there were times when I had to butt in and say, “Knock it off you two!” kidding of course. At times David and Lisa had Liz and I cracking up because they have these “unique” things that they spontaneously do with each other, which you will be able to point out in the photos below. Some people might think that these things are odd, but I think they are cleaver. Anyway, we had a blast and I can’t wait to photography their wedding in May.
