Krista and Ben meet at the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, so it was fitting to bring them back to the place where the spark was first ignited. You’ll be seeing these two again this fall!

Traverse City, MI Engagement // Lauren & Jon

This session was so much fun because Lauren and Jon are such an amazing couple. When the session was over Lauren said to me, “My top 3 moments of the night were 1.) When you (Dan) and Jon held hands, 2.) thinking you (Dan) were going to show Jon how to pose by posing with me and 3.) trying not to get my dress wet. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I will be with them during their wedding next month.

Glen Arbor, MI Engagement // Brittany & John

Ever since I started to talk to Brittany on the phone about her and John’s Traverse City wedding next August, I’ve been super excited to meet these two. If so, you are the man for us!” I pulled this line from the the first email I had received from Max and Michelle. From that point on, I knew that my time with them was going to ROCK! I can’t wait to see this two again in June.

Amanda and Jeff are what you would call awesome people. In the short amount of time I got to know them during their engagement session in Traverse City, they left me eager to photograph their down state wedding in November. They love to laugh with each other, mess around and have a good time. I’m looking forward to seeing these two again in a short seven months.

Over the weekend Elena and Andrew came up to Traverse City to get their engagement photos taken. When we scheduled the session a few months ago, I was hesitate of what the weather was going to be like in mid March. To our surprise, it was sunny and 80 degrees. I couldn’t believe it. Elena and Andrew will be tying the knot this July, be sure to come back then to see photos from their amazing Suttons Bay wedding.

Lauryn and I did some serious planning for this engagement session and our weak Northern Michigan winter almost caused it not to happen. At the last minute, it started to snow and it made this engagement session perfect! Lauryn and Aaron will be getting married this summer and I am definitely looking forward to capturing their day.

Northport, MI Engagement // Erika & Corey

Yesterday I met up with Erika in Corey in Northport to photograph their engagement photos. Erika and Corey are both part of the Great Lakes Maritime Academy so we thought an aquatic theme would be appropriate for them. After a much needed vacation to California and Mexico (photos to come), I was excited to get back to photograph Justin & Katie engagement photos on her families farm in East Jordan. These two have such a cute little family and I’m looking forward to seeing them next May!
