Traverse City Winter Engagement | Caitlyn + Andrew

I’m not exactly sure what qualifies as love at first sight, but I must say that Caitlyn & Andrew’s story is quite possibly the closest thing to love at first sight that I’ve ever heard. I asked Caitlyn and Andrew when they both knew that they were meant for each other. Their response: “our first date.”

“It was the easiest and most enjoyable, approximately-four-hour conversation I’ve had with a stranger.”

“On our first date while we waited for our table, Caitlyn ordered a Rhinegeist Truth IPA from the bar, which is one of my favorite beers… I knew we were two hops on the same vine.”

I think it’s safe to say that Cailtyn & Andrew are simply meant to be together. So it was only a matter of time before a proposal would be made. “On our two year anniversary, Andrew took me to a late lunch at Bakersfield, which is a Cincinnati favorite and the same restaurant that he took me to two years prior- on our first date. Afterwards, we went for a walk through nearby Washington Park in search of Christmas lights (it was December 18th) and in front of historical Music Hall Andrew proposed. I was shocked and didn’t give an answer but continued to repeat, ‘You’re joking?!’ ‘Get up, are you serious?!’ He was.”

Whether traveling to a new place, shopping at their local Costco, or enjoying a great dining experience, Caitlyn & Andrew simply love the time that they spend together. And that’s a very special thing. Congrats!
