A couple of weekends ago, Matt and I had the honor of spending the day with Tim, Laura their friends and families. The day was very relaxed at the Crooked Creek Ranch with a beautiful ceremony down on Lake Leelanau, cocktails to follow and pulled pork for dinner. Oh man was it good! Congrats Tim and Laura and may God bless your marriage!

Dan Stewart Photography presents “The Best of Senior Portraits Class of 2010″

The response for the “The Best of Weddings 2009″ and “The Best of Engagement 2009″ Competitions was incredible with over 2,000 total votes. So I thought it would only be right to have the same competition with senior photos as well. Below I have selected two photographs from each senior portrait session that I personally LOVE! It was hard enough for me to choose the best two photographs from each senior portrait session so I am leaving it up to you, your friends and family to vote for the set photographs you like the most. The polls will open today and will remain open until 11:59PM Friday March 12th so be sure to cast your vote within that time frame. Lake Leelanau, MI Senior Portrait Photos – Kayla

So when is the point you decide you are no longer a kid? Is it when your friends are married and having kids? You have a full time job? You’re too lazy to bend over to pick something up off the floor so you have your wife do it for you…….what!? Or is it when one of your high school friends younger sibling is a senior!!? About a week ago a met up with Kayla and her mom in Lake Leelanau to photograph her senior portrait. Kayla is the younger sister of a high school friend who I have known since our daycare years and apparently since Liz and I have tied the knot, they are now cousins of mine…. Like I said before, I think I am related to everyone in Leelanau County now. After graduating from St. Mary’s Catholic School this Spring, Kayla is planning on attending Michigan State University to study communication disorders because she wants to be able to work with kids without having to be a teacher.
