Castle Farms Wedding | Mary + Tom

The soft morning sun greeted Mary for some yoga while she gazed out over the Charlevoix Harbor. Meanwhile, Mary’s finance, Tom, was rushing around preparing for this day they had patiently waited for. Despite the different routines, both were extremely excited for the events to come.

“I was really excited for everything about the day – seeing friends and family – and especially about finally being married to Mary.”

As excitement and anticipation were their constant morning companions, the two prepared with laughter, friends, and a couple drinks for when they would finally see one another at an unforgettable moment… their first look. Yet before this happened, Mary changed from matching her beautiful bridesmaid’s floral robes to her breathtaking wedding gown and spent a moment alone with her father. With tears of happiness, Mary was now ready to see her soon-to-be-husband.

Pulling into a Charlevoix park, Mary left her father’s truck to meet Tom. Turning around and locking eyes made everything feel right. It was “serene and just felt good and comforting.” Comforted with the other’s presence, the rest of the day fell into place and was flawless. Joined by their closest friends, the bridal party’s spirits were high during all aspects of the day from a deer’s greeting during photos to the scenic drive to their unique Castle Farms venue to the music flowing reception. Greatly valuing these friends, Mary & Tom chose to perform a sand pouring during their ceremony and invited their bridal party to participate as well. In addition, the two had readings and carefully selected music that made their wedding their own.

Sealed in matrimony with a kiss, the celebration continued through the reception and dancing, another significant part for both. Mary had always “wanted a dance party the entire reception and was so happy the dance floor was packed the entire night.” Details like this made their wedding the best day of their lives and amazing, cherished memories to last forever. To them, it was “perfect, beautiful, and timeless.” Congratulations Mary & Tom! May God bless your marriage!
