Sleeping Bear Dunes Wedding | Kaitlyn + Gavin

There was no better place for Kaitlyn and Gavin to tie the knot than the place where they took their first weekend getaway. After driving seven hours they went straight to the Dunes and hiked them all the way to the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. Not only was it one of the most beautiful and unique places they had ever seen, it also held a special place in both of their hearts.  “When considering locations for the wedding, Sleeping Bear Dunes seemed like the perfect fit.”

As the morning of the big day arrived, Katie was busy hurrying around to get ready. “Gavin was light-hearted and easygoing, encouraging me to relax and assuring me that the rain would subside by the time of the ceremony.”

While the day was progressing, the two did not forget to stop and take in some of the sweeter moments of the day. One in particular was,”the loving look in my dad’s eyes before he walked me down the isle” Kaitlyn said. Along with holding hands during their dreamy ceremony. The two felt like they “were standing in the clouds because of how foggy it was.”

What a beautiful day it was, transcendent and love-filled.

Congratulations Kaitlyn and Gavin! May God bless your marriage.
