Shelby + Alex’s wedding at Crystal Mountain Resort was a dream come true. From the breathtaking mountain views to the warmth of being surrounded by family and friends, every detail felt like it was meant to be.

“The Beulah/Frankfort area has always been special to me,” Shelby shared, reflecting on summers spent at Crystal Lake and winters skiing at Crystal Mountain. It was the perfect place to say ‘I do.’ “We really wanted a venue where everyone could stay together, and the view from the mountaintop was just stunning. We couldn’t wait for everyone to experience Northern Michigan with us.”

The morning leading up to the ceremony was filled with excitement and joy, surrounded by the people Shelby loves most. “It was so fun getting ready with my friends, cousins, sisters, nieces, and parents. There was a lot of anticipation, but I felt really calm. I couldn’t wait to see Alex.”

As Shelby made her way up the chairlift with her parents, the rain cleared just in time for the ceremony. Alex was in awe. “Seeing Shelby walk down the aisle, hugging her parents, and taking her hand… it was even more emotional than I had imagined.”

From a heartfelt ceremony to a dance-filled celebration, Shelby + Alex’s wedding was everything they had dreamed of. “At the end of the night, the band played Piano Man, and everyone gathered around us. It was overwhelming to see all the people we love, there for us.”
