They met in class while attending Michigan State University. “We were sitting next to each other when the professor announced a group project. Tyler asked if I wanted to be his partner, and we exchanged numbers to meet up. Slowly the texts turned from ‘Here’s the citation page’ to ‘Are you going to the bars tonight?’ We started dating about three months later.”

From MSU to California and many places in between, it wasn’t long before Kayla + Tyler knew they had found something special. “Tyler proposed on Christmas morning. The plan was for us to go on a hike then head to my dad’s house. We were walking through a snowy trail when we came upon a beautiful shrine, complete with a sign, lights, blanket, champagne, and rose petals. Tyler got down on one knee and proposed. Shortly after, both our families came out of the woods to celebrate. Tyler’s sister and cousin were hiding in the snow and caught it all on camera. PROPS to Tyler!”
