“Connor always knows how to bring a smile to my face. His midwestern charm and lighthearted spirit are infectious. We have so much in common yet also balance each other out. We’ve lived in five different cities in our seven year relationship, and it’s never a dull moment. I know our future will be full of adventures, laughter, and lots of pizza!”
Valerie + Connor met while attending the University of Michigan. “Little did we know that a rowdy football Saturday in Ann Arbor spent with mutual friends would lead us to finding one another.”
From college football games to traveling the world, Valerie + Connor quickly found that what they had found in each other was something different- something special so it was just a matter of time before Connor would pop the question.
“One of our favorite holiday activities is looking at Christmas lights together. It was two nights before Christmas and we were set to go on a dinner date, followed by a walk around the park to start our light-gazing. As we we made our way to the big Christmas tree in the park, Connor gave me a card with a poem on it that ended with him popping the question and getting down on one knee! I was totally shocked! He organized a get-together with our family and friends to celebrate after at the local pub!”
