“I remember telling myself that I was going to marry this man on our second date. We had gone to dinner and spent the rest of the night talking and laughing. I was so comfortable around him and I knew I could just be myself.”

“I knew Jill was the one right after our second date, after I dropped her off at her apartment. I was totally smitten. Had butterflies in my stomach which never happened to me before so I called her up and we talked for hours. Which doesn’t really happen that often to me.”

Jill + Jake were simply meant to be. “We ‘met’ online but when I first met Jake in person, it didn’t feel like an awkward first date. It felt like I was hanging out with my best friend.”

From those first couple days to trips to California together, it was only a matter of time before Jake popped the question. “We had a trip planned to California over a long weekend in March. On the plane ride there, we were sharing headphones and Jake had made a playlist for the trip called ‘all of my love.’ We probably looked crazy to everyone on the plane. The playlist was a definite tear jerker for both of us. Jake proposed later that night after dinner when we got back to our airbnb out on the balcony.”
