“It depends on who you ask… 🙂 If you ask Jason, we met at a grocery store and I was stalking him through the frozen food section. :)”
Although, the truth is, these two met on an online dating app, Bumble. “I was hesitant and unsure to join, but through the push of some friends decided it was the only way to get out of my current social cycle and meet new people. I hadn’t had good luck with dating prior. Sure enough he was the first guy I met. Our first date was at a brewery where he fell in love with me because he knew any chick that could drink a flight of beer and enjoys sports was worth holding onto…haha.”
Angela and Jason’s first phone conversation lasted for about an hour and a half; where they both recall it being so natural. “We both talked about work and family and what hobbies we had and we set up a date for the following weekend for our last first date.”
It wasn’t long before the two realized they had something unique, “I knew right away our relationship was different than my prior relationships. After the bumps and getting to know one another in the first few weeks, we really had something strong. He called when he said he was going to call, and followed through on any plan he set in place. After the first few months I knew we had something special.”
And soon Jason was down on one knee, Â asking Angela to be his forever. “Jason proposed to me on his aunt and uncles sailboat. We both have a mutual love of the water, and always enjoy being out on the lake. He proposed to me nearly at sunset on the front of the sailboat, and we had a nice dinner with his family on the boat after. I’ll never forget that day.”
When we asked what the couple enjoys doing together, Angela replied: “What don’t we enjoy doing together? We love going to games, watching sports (especially MSU), going out to eat, shopping, traveling and most importantly just being in each others company.”
