A Snowy Hike Along the Boardman River | Kaelyn + Brandon

Kaelyn + Brandon met on the dating app, Bumble. “We both swiped right and the rest is history! We first set eyes on each other in the parking lot of Griffin Claw Brewery and as the nervousness settled, we ended up talking for hours over pizza and beer.”
“Within our dating history, we took a short break from our relationship. After about six months we decided to give it another go, and boy are we glad we did.”
“After Christmas we went up north to Harbor Springs to spend a few days with family. We went to lunch, had a drink at one of our favorite bars, and then went to Pond Hill Farm. This has always been our favorite place to visit whenever we are up north. Although the weather was rainy and windy and it wasn’t as picturesque as Brandon had hoped, in the end it turned out to be the perfect proposal. We walked to the top of the hill to overlook Lake Michigan, and that is where Brandon proposed. When we got to the bottom of the hill, we were greeted by both of our families and celebrated this awesome moment in our lives.”
Kaelyn + Brandon have been through it all together. “In 2018 we both went through substantial loss with the passing of Brandon’s best friend and Kaelyn’s mom, and it really reaffirmed our decision that we wanted to spend our lives with each other. We learned that life is too short and precious to not spend it with the one you love.”
