Mission Point Lighthouse Engagement | Lauren + Jeff
Lauren and Jeff had met off a dating site and had their first date at their mutually favorite arcade bar. To Lauren’s surprise, Jeff was the first non-creepy person she had met off the site. Their lives took different paths as Lauren traveled to Europe for 2 months. Jeff could only hope they would cross paths once again. Finally, when Lauren returned, she asked Jeff to meet for drinks so they could catch up and she could tell him all about her travels. The couple share a love for playful fun as some of their time spent together consisted of Mario Cart, stealing a cowboy hat off a mannequin, and dancing the night away at a gay bar. All that fun lead to a well earned engagement.
It took place on vacation in Alaska; their first big trip since the pandemic. Having purchased the ring 10 days prior, Jeff carried the ring in his pocket waiting for the perfect moment to pop the question. “Every time we came to a beautiful spot on a hike or look-out on the drive, I would think ‘this is the spot I’ll propose’ but then I’d get too nervous. SO on the last hike on the last day, after summiting an incredibly difficult and beautiful trail, we had our celebratory beer. We were about to leave when I got down on one knee and asked Lauren if she’d be my forever adventure partner.” To no surprise, Lauren said yes. “Jeff is easily the most patient, understanding, giving, and FUN person I have ever met. I went through an incredibly difficult loss during the first few months of our relationship. Jeff was a rock for me. I knew then that he was someone I would want in my life forever. He is always up for anything. I cannot wait for the many adventures and fun to come with my best friend and future husband!”
May you two have countless years of adventure, joy, and wonder together! Congratulations!
