“Alex was doing a resident rotation at the clinic I was managing.” Mackenzie + Alexander met at work, and it was only a matter of time before they knew they were meant for each other. “It was during his time in Africa, and we could only communicate over the phone that I knew he was the person for me.”

From exploring Victoria Falls in Zambia to spending time together playing cards at home, Mackenzie + Alexander are simply perfect for each other.

So when it came time for Alex to propose, he wanted it to be perfect. But a global pandemic had other plans. “COVID ruined all of Alex’s original plans. He ended up not wanting to wait any longer and proposed in his parents back yard while we were visiting them in Connecticut!”
