Fountain Point Resort Wedding | Emily + Cole

Emily and Cole’s day was filled with all the charms of Northern Michigan. “We chose Fountain Point because it provided the unique opportunity for our guests to get away for several days and stay onsite for our wedding weekend while enjoying lakeside s’mores and a game of shuffleboard. We wanted to showcase the best parts of Northern Michigan, from guests who are from just downstate to those who flew in from overseas.” Their venue definitely did just that.

Emily woke up the morning of feeling, “relieved, calm, and ready to jump in the lake!” Cole, on the other hand, said he felt, “nervous, excited, happy, and not ready to jump in the lake.” Regardless of the desire to jump in the lake, it was obvious from their first look that they were equally excited to see and marry their best friend. When reliving the day as a whole, Cole said the moments that stuck out most to him were, “crying so much, the first look, and watching our friends and family enjoy themselves.” Emily reminisced about “Lotus receiving so much love, the first look, golden hour photos, and eating pizza while dancing!”

They described their day as a whole as “genuine, warm, thoughtful” and “beautiful, honest, and tender.” We think the photos show the truth of that assessment. Congratulations, Emily and Cole! We wish you nothing but the best.
