Beautiful Old Mission Peninsula Engagement | Kristin + George
Kristin + George’s engagement on the picturesque Old Mission Peninsula is a story of genuine connection and enduring love. From the very first night they met, a spark ignited that has only grown brighter over the last eight years.
“No matter good or bad, rain or shine, at the end of the day we always share a laugh and smile,” Kristin shared. “There is no one else I’d rather share those moments with.”
George echoed the sentiment, “He really is my knight in shining armor, guiding me through life’s ups and downs.”
Their story began unexpectedly on a night out in Detroit, arranged by their sisters. What started as Kristin’s birthday celebration and George’s first night out as a 21-year-old turned into the best night of their lives. Over drinks and conversation, a lasting connection was born.
Over the years, Kristin found new reasons to love George every day. “He’s been by my side through family struggles, nursing school, and life’s curveballs. Even when I’m at my worst, George knows how to bring a smile back to my face.”
Last February, George planned a surprise engagement, seven years to the weekend after they officially became a couple. “It was supposed to be just dinner downtown, but in a quiet moment, he asked me to be with him forever,” Kristin recalled. “I wasn’t as surprised as George thought — I had accidentally found the ring earlier that day. It’s a night we’ll never forget, a story we’ll share for generations.”
