Ridge at Verterra Wedding | Madison + Patrick

Verterra Wedding was everything Madison + Patrick dreamed of. “When we pulled up to The Ridge at Verterra and looked out over the water, I instantly had full body chills and knew this is where I wanted to marry Patrick.”

They chose the perfect location for their intimate wedding. “We wanted a more intimate wedding, and we thought this would be the perfect place to do it.”

Having envisioned this moment for the last year, the couple couldn’t wait to get the day started. “I woke up knowing today was one of the biggest days of my life. I couldn’t wait to see how beautiful Maddie looked and to celebrate with our friends and family who had traveled from all over.”

Though Madison expected nerves and anxiety, they never came. “I woke up with the calmest feeling knowing today was the day I would marry the best guy I’ve ever known. I was ready to see Patrick and celebrate with the ones we love most!”

When Madison walked down the aisle, Patrick’s emotions overflowed. “When the doors opened in the church, and I saw Maddie, I had to hold back tears,” he shared. The emotions continued through the ceremony and into the reception.

“When we finally sat down for dinner, I was able to relax with Maddie. It was so nice to look around, take in the scenery, and see all our loved ones gathered together. We were truly in the moment.”

One of their favorite memories came during their couple photos, which carried from sunset to twilight. “We got a beautiful sunset, and a full moon followed. Dan captured stunning pictures of us as we walked around the vineyard with the moonlight reflecting on the pond. We even had a few minutes to dance in the sunset. When our favorite slow song, ‘Tennessee Whiskey,’ played, we just looked at each other, smiled, and danced together in that perfect moment.”
