Sleeping Bear Dunes Engagement was the perfect setting for Chelsea + Jack’s proposal. They met through mutual friends. “I was living with a married couple, and the guy went to high school with Jack!”
As they got to know each other, it didn’t take long for them to realize something special was blooming between them. “I came to visit Chelsea after we’d been talking and hanging out for about a month or so. She had dinner prepared for me and a couple of friends. It was the first time someone had gone above and beyond to impress me by cooking.”
Whether watching Michigan State basketball together or sharing Instagram reels of dogs, Chelsea + Jack simply enjoy each other’s company. So, it was no surprise when Jack finally popped the question.
“We brought our friend, Cole, to Traverse City for a hike at Pyramid Point. I was texting Jack’s mom, sending her pictures of sandhill cranes on our way. When we got to the view, I thought it was odd Cole had a backpack, but didn’t think much of it. I always take photos, so I told them to smile. Then, Cole said he’d take one of us. Jack insisted on taking my La Croix away, and when I turned around after doing so, Jack suddenly got down on one knee and popped the question! I was in such shock, I said, ‘What, no! What is this?!’ Cole had champagne in his backpack as a surprise!”
