The Homestead Wedding provided Sarah and Stephen with the ideal venue to showcase the beauty of Northern Michigan. “We knew we wanted a destination wedding to share the stunning landscape with our out-of-state guests. After researching options, we came across The Homestead. We loved the idea of all our guests staying in one place, and the location within Sleeping Bear Dunes is hard to top! Once we visited the venue, we knew it would be perfect for our wedding!”

Their wedding day did not disappoint. According to Sarah, the most memorable moments were, “The first look and vows. Any anxiety I had about the day disappeared as soon as I saw Stephen. Although others were there, it felt like it was just the two of us. Walking down the aisle with my Dad was emotional, and somehow we pulled it together before the final turn. The sunset photos were special, a moment between just the two of us to take in how special the day had been.”

Stephen shared, “The whole day felt relaxed and peaceful. I really enjoyed spending the morning with family and friends we don’t see enough. The first look was special, and the pictures by the stream helped ease the anxiety of the moment.”

Their day was described as “magical, special, and perfect” and “comfortable, beautiful, and dreamy.” We couldn’t agree more.
