Alie + Rich always envisioned an outdoor wedding, and when they visited BlueBridge Events Centre, they knew it was the perfect venue. “I have been visiting Northern Michigan every summer since I was a little kid. It is such a special place to me, and of course, it’s gorgeous. When Richard moved to Michigan, he began spending summers there, and it immediately became a special place to him as well. For us, it was such an easy decision to get married up north. It just felt right.”

The couple had been together for 11 years and always knew they’d one day get married. “I think we felt a sense of calmness that morning because our decision to get married happened a long time ago. It felt like just another day, only a very special day since we could have all our important people in one place to celebrate and finally make it official.”

For Alie + Rich, exchanging their vows was the moment that stood out the most. “That’s when it really all became real.”
