“Completely, pure happiness!”

When you’re in love, no distance is too great when it comes to finding the perfect place to get married. For Rachael & Andrew, making the decision to travel from San Fransisco, to Northern Michigan was an easy choice. “We both have spent many years in the past coming up to Leelanau with our families. When we met, we continued to go up together, and went to 45 North every year. We have tons of sentimentality for 45 North and Leelanau in general.”

With the sun shining, birds singing and downtown Leland buzzing with action, Rachael & Andrew got ready a few miles apart from each other. While most men at this stage might experience a little anxiety, Andrew, “Felt completely at peace, and very excited.”. Not unlike Rachael who, “Felt relaxed, ready, and kept wanting to freeze every moment in time.”

The rest of the day unfolded in an unforgettable way. Every moment was rich with love and affection and laughter as Rachael & Andrew moved together from a teary first look, to reading personally written (and privately kept) vows to each other at the ceremony, all the way up to slaying it on the dance floor.
