Deer Lake Wedding | Jenny + Andy | By Luke

12/09/2019

Summing up your wedding as, “Everything and more” is what we like to hear!

If you’re from Northern Michigan you know that we pride ourselves on our outdoors in the summer time.  Any chance to do anything outdoors and we are all over it.  The same went for Jenny and Andy, Boyne City locals, concerning their wedding day.  Despite it being the middle of September and it being a particularly rainy week, they knew that outside in the lawn next to Deer Lake was where they would be married, rain or shine. “It’s the combination of so many things that we both love. The lake, the trees, the fresh air. The Bald Eagle that was flying above the venue before walking down the aisle, the rainbow above us as we exited. Jenny and I knew that it had to be outdoors – we even said we would do it outside even if it was raining. Thankfully it was not and we were blessed with a beautiful day.”

The rest of Jenny & Andy’s day was equally beautiful.  Full of love from friends and family, sweet reunions, and joyful fellowship.  When Andy looks back on his day, he recalls, “Excitement, Joy, Calm, did I say Excitement? Personally, I couldn’t wait to see Jenny in her dress. We both don’t do well with keeping secrets and we didn’t do a first looks so the first time I finally looked up and saw her walking down the aisle was a pretty incredible moment for me.”

It was truly a special day for everyone involved!  Congratulations Jenny & Andy and thank you for being wonderful people with genuine hearts!
