Castle Farms Wedding | Chelsea + Chris | By Luke

“Best. Day. Ever.”

“I was so ready to be married to my best friend. I was relaxed and excited and giddy to see Chris waiting for me. There wasn’t any nervousness, just happiness that this day had finally arrived!” Chelsea & Chris gathered with their friends and family in Charlevoix, Michigan to tie the knot. “We have both had strong connections up north most of our lives, and we couldn’t think of a better way to incorporate our lifestyles and love for the outdoors into our wedding.  And, who could go wrong with getting married in a castle!”

The morning of the wedding was finally here, and after spending it laughing, relaxing and watching the ferries and boats head out to Lake Michigan for their weekend adventures, Chelsea and Chris were keen to get started on their own adventure.  “God brought us through a lot to get us to that day”.

There are moments during a wedding day that will forever be seared into our brains.  For most (as it was for Chelsea & Chris), those moments are during the ceremony.  “Seeing Chris cry when I walked down the aisle… I secretly was hoping he would give me a good cry face, and he didn’t disappoint.”.  She also recalls that, “The message that our pastor gave during the ceremony was very touching and hit home to me. That this marriage and love is a choice that we have to choose every day. It’s what weddings are about.”

Chelsea & Chris are the kind of couple that just scream authenticity.  Watching them interact and laugh and flirt with each other is a reminder of why we do what we do.  Congratulations Chelsea & Chris!  May God bless you on your new adventure together!
