The Henry Ford Wedding | Tara + Brien

There is always a lot of anticipation when it comes to the wedding day. It’s amazing when all the time and energy that is spent on something so near and dear to your heart finally happens, and it turns out to be everything you ever dreamed it would. Tara and Brien’s day was no exception. Starting off the day getting ready in their childhood homes, where so many memories were made, they were able to create one more special memory that will never be forgotten.

The day was finally here, “We both were excited to see each other, while also a bit nervous at the same time. We were the first to get married from both of our families, so there was a lot of excitement and anticipation for this day for quite some time.”

Brien said, “I remember when we first sat down together at the wedding mass and feeling like, Wow, we are actually here.” and Tara shared in her excitement  “It was a beautiful ceremony and I loved that we were able to have our family members participate in the day.”

Tara and Brien both loved the idea of getting married at a venue that held so much history. “How cool is it to get married with historic artifacts such as Abe Lincoln’s chair, the Kennedy limousine, and so many other parts of history!? We loved that our guests were able to wander through the museum throughout the evening and enjoy some parts of history while also celebrating with us!” Not only was the museum fun to celebrate in, but it also made for a beautiful venue.

After much thought and careful planning, Tara was able to sit back and admire how beautiful everything turned out. “I remember looking at the reception for the first time and the feeling of how everything had finally come together. I also remember the feeling of being the only ones in a huge museum that I had visited so many times in my childhood!” What a special place to tie the knot!

As the night came to a close, Brien  and Tara finally enjoyed a few quiet moments with their new spouse. “I remember doing our afterglow newlywed photos and the quiet moments that we had, just Tara and I.”

Surrounded by family and friends, on the perfect day in Dearborn MI Tara and Brien said “YES!” to forever together. Congrats Tara + Brien, May God bless your marriage!
