Elberta Life Saving Station Wedding | Brianna + Kyle

10/18/2019

For most couples, the wedding day is filled with lots of emotions and prewedding jitters but for Brianna + Kyle all they were feeling was fatigue.

“The morning of our wedding was the start of a five day illness. Kyle and I both felt like crap, but overall managed to stay pretty calm. I think we saved ourselves a lot of stress by getting married a year and a half before the reception.”

You would have never known they weren’t feeling well as the day proceeded. Both Brianna + Kyle has nothing but smiles throughout the day and evening. Having friends and family to help them celebrate brought out the best in them.

The sunset photos are always a favorite moment for couples as it provides them time to get away and just be together and let all the events of the day soak in.

“The sunset photos were hands-down my favorite part of the evening. It was so nice to get away from the, albeit wonderful, chaos and have some alone time with Kyle.”

Another really special moment for Brianna was when Kyle gave her a Petoskey and Fordite bracelet. “It’s so special and such a perfect nudge to the area we decided to have our reception.”

Tears are a common sight at weddings but Brianna + Kyle were fairly calm and relaxed. “The only time I actually cried was in the morning when my mother-in-law gave me the family cookbook. I also got a little teary during our first dance. I love our song so much (Grow Old With You by Adam Sandler).” And for Kyle, the “Most emotional part for me was seeing her in her dress for the first time.”

What three words would Brianna + Kyle use to describe their wedding day?

“No going back!” “My life’s over!”

Hahaha! Brianna + Kyle, may you never lose that sense of humor and may God bless your marriage!
