Jessie + Adam would say that the ceremony was the best part of the day. Set in the sunlight in front of the rustic barn, the couple solidified their connection in front of their friends and family. “The anticipation and walking down the aisle created some high emotions” but Jessie felt relieved as soon as the ceremony was underway.

“We love Northern Michigan in the summer and wanted a venue that captured that. We intentionally sought a barn venue.” Blue Sky’s rustic barn venue delivered with a sophisticated but rustic feel which matched perfectly with the bride’s whimsical and upbeat vision. Jessie’s eclectic spunk shined through in surprising details such as the groom’s custom lined jacket, the clever #SoFreshSoMcLean, and M&M’s donning the couples’ faces.

“We loved walking in at dinner and getting a chance to fully appreciate how great our friends and family are. It was an honor to have so many people show up for us and made everything that much more special.” The couple radiated joy as they danced their way into the reception. All in attendance reflected the happiness and gratitude demonstrated by the newlyweds.

An intimate sunset walk allowed the couple to pause and connect. The golden hour generates a romantic ambience perfect for capturing post nuptial bliss. After sharing this touching moment together the bride and groom returned to the reception and the celebration continued.
