The Homestead Resort Wedding | Maddy + Taylor

“We felt so loved, PERFECT weather, calm controlled chaos.”

“I was so happy that all of the planning was paying off and I felt very calm about the whole day because I knew as long as I was marrying Taylor, all would go well. I was excited for it to get under way but I also wanted to be as present as possible to remember everything. I enjoyed getting ready in a home that I knew with our dogs around too :)”

“I was definitely a bit nervous, but not nervous to be marrying the one I love. More of an over-happy excitement. It was very nice to be with close friends the morning of the wedding and getting ready in a familiar place was definitely a plus.”

For every couple, there are some very special moments that stick out their minds when they think back over the entire day. For Maddy + Taylor, it was the First Look and reading of their vows to each other. Having that private moment, just the two of them, sharing their love and laying their hearts bare.

“Our first look was absolutely perfect! When Taylor read his vows I was blown away that he wrote them that morning. I remember sitting at the ceremony listening to the homily and thinking, this is really happening!”

Having your best friends and close family with you to celebrate your wedding day adds to the amazement of the day. You never know what your bridal party will say in their speeches and you wait with great anticipation to hear their words. “I remember loving all of the speeches and appreciating how genuine all of them were.”

Wedding cake, cupcakes, various desserts are all wonderful choices for a wedding celebration. Maddy + Taylor did something a little different; they had ice cream!

“Our first scoop was an incredibly awkward experience of us eating ice cream not really knowing if we should also be dancing.”

“I would also have to agree with Maddy that the first scoop was a bit awkward.”

The evening was topped off with a beautiful sunset photo session; just the two of them; but now as husband and wife.

An “Amazing, Grateful, and Life-Changing” experience. Congratulations Maddy and Taylor, may God bless your marriage.
