The Homestead Resort Wedding | Marta + Alex

With Alex growing up in Glen Arbor and Marta vacationing there, the Homestead proved to be the perfect venue to reflect the couple’s lives.

All the planning for the big day had come to an end and it was finally time to enjoy it, “I was excited! Once I saw Alex any nervousness for how the day would go went away. I spent planning worrying about the details and what could go wrong, wanting to make sure everything went smooth for our guests. That morning it really became about Alex and our marriage. We both just wanted to celebrate with our friends and family.”

As a whole, the day filled up with many moments the two will hold on to forever, one in particular was their first look, “…Alex and I liked that it was just the two of us. It was our moment and no one else’s. I also really enjoyed riding the chairlift. Going up it was nice to have that time to sit and talk to my dad and riding back down with Alex we got to have that moment right after our wedding ceremony for ourselves.”

It was the most perfect Northern Michigan day for the newlyweds. Each and every moment of the day was intentional and personal. What a beautiful time it was for Marta and Alex to say “yes!” to each other forever.
