A Homestead Resort Wedding | Morgan + Matt | By Luke

Morgan & Matt are a part of the wedding heroes of 2020 because when they were faced with unforeseen challenges that threatened their wedding, they adapted and sacrificed. They knew that no matter what, they were getting married this year!

Despite the whirlwind leading up to it, the actual morning of the wedding was quite peaceful as Morgan remembers it, “We thought that with the chaos of 2020 that we would feel stressed. However, waking up the morning of, we felt a new sense of peace and relief that no matter what, we were going to be married by the end of the day. When you’re faced with such adversity while planning a wedding it really puts into perspective the things that matter the most.”

Everything went so smoothly that morning from Morgan getting ready with her mom, to revealing her final look to her bridesmaids, to sharing an emotional and blissful first look with her soon to be husband and then with her father. Before they knew it, it was time to for them to get married!

“Walking down the aisle stood out for both of us. Matt said that he had to remind himself to take a few big deep breaths in an attempt to neither cry nor blackout from excitement, and I remember nothing but my Dad’s arm and Matt’s face (that’s normal, right?). The ceremony was exactly the dancing and laughter filled party that we both had been looking forward to all year long.”

Not a beat was missed the whole rest of the day and I am so proud to have been a part of it.

Congratulations Morgan & Matt!
