“Harbor Springs has always been a special place for Teddy and I and it’s where we fell in love after meeting in Chicago. It’s a beautiful location that holds many special memories for us – with each other, with friends, and with family. We also wanted to show Harbor to our friends and family who hadn’t been before, knowing they would love it as much as we do. Teddy’s family has strong roots in Harbor Springs and we knew we wanted to host our wedding in his parents backyard with his family’s restaurant catering – a true family affair.”

That is just what Katie and Teddy’s wedding day was, a true family affair. What a beautiful expression of the love that Katie and Teddy share and amazing celebration of the uniting of two families.

Katie and Teddy shared an early morning swim in the bay (while it was pouring rain) before getting ready with their friends. Both were so excited for the day ahead. “I was ready to marry Teddy! We had planned for this day for so long and it was finally here. I was actually super calm because I knew no matter what happened, at the end of the day I would be married to my best friend.”

“We wouldn’t change a thing.” They described the day as warm, serene, and SO much fun!
