Crowne Plaza Lansing, MI Wedding | Karsha + Chris

Choosing to tie the knot at the University United Methodist Church held special meaning for Karsha and Chris. “…I grew up attending that church with my family. Several important occasions took place there, including my brother’s wedding and father’s funeral. Although my father was not able to be with us on that day, we certainly felt his presence, exchanging vows in the church that he loved so much.”

The morning of Karsha and Chris’s wedding day was an overwhelming mix of emotions, “…excitement, relief, anxiety. Getting ready was a bit surreal. We had waited for this day for so long, and it hadn’t really sunk in that it was finally here.”

After all the preparation, it was finally time for Karsha and Chris to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. “The first look was pretty amazing. Any nerves or anxiety we previously had immediately dissipated when we saw each other. It just validated how much we belong together.”

Through all the wonderful moments the two shared together on their wedding day, they both agreed on one in particular as being one of the best. “…when I first stepped onto the aisle while the theme song from Last of the Mohicans played, I looked at Chris smiling back at me, heard the music playing and immediately felt an overwhelming sense of joy. Music from the Last of the Mohicans meant a lot to us, as it was something we discovered we had in common early on in our relationship. It definitely was an emotional moment for both of us.”

Karsha and Chris are a perfect match and their special day illustrated that beautifully. Congratulations on your marriage, and may God bless the both of you!
