Mission Point Resort Wedding | Kristina + Justin | By Anna

“Mackinac Island and Mackinaw City are my happy place. I’ve been going up there all my life, because my mom is from there. Fast forward in life, a close friend of mine worked at Mission Point, and I would always go visit and fell in love with the resorts area. I said ‘Some day I’ll get married here.’ Little did I know my dream would come true many years later!”

Kristina & Justin’s wedding day was a Mackinac Island lover’s dream. The beautiful red roofed resort perched along the rocky shoreline, the white chairs scattered along the sprawling lawn, the horse drawn carriage ride through the historic downtown… It doesn’t get much better than that!

Kristina & Justin’s big day began in the company of their closest friends. “It still seemed unreal to me. My nerves were starting to kick in. I wanted to see Justin, I held back from even texting him!!! Which is really hard, we always send an ‘I miss you’ or an ‘I love you’ texts through out the day. But I really was trying to relax and enjoy this time with my closest girls and really soak that day in.”

And soon the happy couple was reunited once again! A beautiful ceremony on the lawn, a carriage ride across the island, and a reception to remember. Every details was perfect. Congrats, Kristina & Justin!
