Ridge at Verterra Wedding | Madison + Patrick

“When we pulled up to The Ridge at Verterra and looked out over the water I instantly had full body chills and knew this is where I wanted to marry Patrick.” Madison + Patrick picked a beautiful vineyard to experience the beginning of forever together. “We wanted a more intimate wedding and we thought this would be the perfect place to do it.” Having dreamed about this moment everyday for the last year, when the wedding finally arrived the couple couldn’t be more excited to get the day rolling. “I woke up knowing today was one of the biggest days of my life. I couldn’t wait to see how beautiful Maddie looked and to celebrate with all our friends and family who had traveled from all over.” Madison expected nerves and anxiety to set in the morning of the wedding but they never did. “I woke up with the calmest feeling knowing today was the day I would finally marry the best guy I’ve ever known. I was ready to see Patrick and celebrate with the ones we love the most!” When Madison walked down the isle, a well of emotion came over Patrick. “When the doors opened in the church and I first saw Maddie I had to hold a lump feeling in my throat to stop myself from tearing up.” The emotions continued for the couple through the ceremony and well into the reception. “When we finally sat down for dinner I was able to relax with Maddie. It was so nice to look around and take in all the scenery around including seeing all our friends and family there. We were able to be in the moment around us with each other.” One of the more outstanding moments was their couple photos that carried from sunset to twilight. “Not only did we get a beautiful sunset but we also had a full moon. Dan took pictures of us as we walked around the vineyard with the moonlight reflecting on the pond… During this time he gave us a few minutes alone to dance in the sunset . From where we were we could hear the DJ still. One of our favorite slow songs to dance to came on over the vineyard, ‘Tennessee Whiskey’. Without saying anything to each other we just looked at each other with the biggest smiles on our faces and danced.”

It was a life changing and picturesque event. Congratulations!
