Mill Race Historic Village Wedding | Jess + Daniel

Both Jess and Daniel had relaxing, calm mornings on their wedding day. The nerves began to set in for the both of them when it was time to see each other. “I became so nervous to see Daniel and have him see me. Once I saw him everything felt real and right. He’s my favorite person and I just wanted to be with him.” After seeing each other, all seemed right again and the two were ready to get the day going. “The first look was very emotional. Spending the night apart and then having excitement and nerves build all morning made for a special moment. Seeing each other made everything click into place and feel real.”

The day continued to hold many amazing and memorable moments for Jess and Daniel. Soon it was time for the “I do’s!” and their first kiss as man and wife. “When the pastor began reading our chosen passage it was very emotional. We chose that piece because it speaks of commitment and how for the last 5 years we’ve talked about our future and plans, and in that moment we were saying ‘All of that-I meant it, every single word.'”

These special moments continued from the ceremony on through the rest of the day, “When the rain stopped and the sun came out momentarily for photos it felt surreal. We firmly believe all of our grandparents were shining down from heaven to give us time for beautiful fall photos. As we treked outside the beauty of the day was astounding. Standing together felt absolutely perfect.”

And that was their day, astounding and perfect. Congratulations Jess and Daniel! Your love for each other is inspiring; it was a joy to document. May God bless the both of you and your marriage.
