Cherry Basket Farms Wedding | Kirsten + Nate

Kirsten and Nate fell in love with their wedding venue, it was near their loved ones and the perfect place for the best day of their lives, “It was more than we could have ever hoped for. We knew we wanted our wedding in Northwestern Michigan it is a beautiful part of the country and is a place that was very near and dear to our hearts, From the neighboring cherry orchard to the lush greenery and beautiful barns, we loved it all. As soon as we stepped foot onto the venue, we knew it was the place for us. It was the first and only venue we toured, and we couldn’t have imagined anything better.”

Kirsten barely slept the night before their wedding day,  “I was so excited! The sun was out that morning after a week of predicted thunderstorms for the day, and the forecast was perfect for our outdoor wedding. It felt like the universe was on our side that day. I was so excited to get through my morning hair appointment and getting-ready routine so that I could finally get to the ceremony and marry my best friend. No nerves, no anxiousness, nothing. Just pure joy!” But Kirsten wasn’t the only one, unbelievably excited for their big day,”That morning, I went golfing in Northport with a couple of my groomsmen. It didn’t really hit me until I was on the course that that morning, I had a fiancé, but in a couple hours, I would have a wife. I would be wearing a ring on my finger, life wouldn’t just be me anymore, we would legally be a team soon – everything hit me all at once on the golf course. Progressively throughout the day, our wedding became more and more real to me and more impactful. I was very excited and ready to jump into this next chapter of our lives.”

Kristen will never forget her wedding, but she cherished the ceremony the most, “From seeing Nate cry when I was walking down the aisle and the song he sang to me, to listening to his beautiful vows and putting the rings on each other’s fingers and kissing at the end.” Nate’s most memorable part of their day was seeing Kirsten, “When she began to walk down the aisle was the most emotional part of the day for me.” Their day was completely unforgettable and they enjoyed every second of it and of being together.

Congratulations Nate and Kirsten! Thank you for letting us document your  special day and the beautiful love you share.  God Bless!
