Tiange + Jake’s wedding day was set in the beautiful countryside of Northern Michigan. “We have always wanted our wedding to be intimate and cozy. We wanted it to be an event where our family and friends could comfortably hang out with each other, relax, and have fun. We also knew we wanted the wedding to be as close to nature as possible. Growing up in Michigan, Jake always brags about how beautiful Traverse City is. The lakes, the woods, the dunes… Everything about Traverse City just seems so perfect. We actually heard about Cherry Basket Farm by accident. We both work in the restaurant industry, so we paid extra attention to find a good food caterer. Numerous people we spoke to recommended Epicure Catering to us. When we googled it, we realized that they also had a venue! Looking at the pictures online, we immediately fell in love with it. So we booked it without even touring the venue in person! We are so glad that we did. Cherry Basket Farm is absolutely perfect for us!”

And it truly was perfect! The venue. The weather. The people. The whole day. Everything came together to form the perfect setting for Tiange + Jake to celebrate their union and love.

“September was a crazy month for us. We moved from New York to Michigan, changed our jobs, planned our wedding, and also planned a trip for my family after the wedding. We had been running around so much that we barely had any time with each other. When we finally saw each other during our first look, it felt like our stress went away all at once. It was so relaxed and joyful to be just the two of us. We could finally look at each other, talk to each other, be goofy together, and laugh together.”
