Amy & James’ wedding day was a day of family, friends, and deep love. And Petoskey, Michigan, created the perfect backdrop. “Living in Chicago, we liked the idea of having the wedding overlook Lake Michigan from the other side of the lake.” The breathtaking views. The small town charm. The heartfelt expressions of love and gratitude. Everything about this day was marked by beauty.

Amy & James began their big day a few miles apart, marking careful preparations with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Soon every last details was put into place and it was time for the day’s festivities to begin. As Amy looks back, she recalls those early afternoon feelings: “I was a little nervous, but all nerves were erased once we did our first look and were together.”

And boy, was she right! As soon as Amy & James laid eyes on each other, they couldn’t take them off. Their grins stretched from ear to ear, and they certainly weren’t about to let a little threat of rain hinder their big day. From photos on The Perry lawn to an intimate ceremony on the patio, every little detail of the day spoke of these two special people and their beautiful hearts for each other. Soon it was time to gather together inside for a ROCKING reception. The speeches, the dances, the never ending laughter. What a night to remember!
