Stafford’s Perry Hotel Wedding | Megan + Damon

Choosing Petoskey as the place to hold their wedding was an easy decision – between its endless beauty and it being Megan’s hometown, Megan and Damon knew right away.

The morning of their wedding was spent in the good company of their loved ones. With Megan and Damon hanging out together, getting ready, and sharing some laughs before the ceremony, it was a great way to make the morning more relaxing. “The morning of the wedding, we felt nothing but excitement (and relief), as everything we had been planning for for 18 months was finally coming together! We found ourselves thinking ‘I can’t believe it’s here!'”

Soon it was time for Megan and Damon to see each other before their peaceful backyard ceremony. Even though Megan and Damon had been around each other all morning, standing outside waiting to see Megan in her dress is a moment Damon will never forget. The two were all smiles and laughter, fully embracing each moment that the day was presenting them with.

As their closest family members had made their way to the house, Megan prepared to walk down the aisle with her father. Among just their closest family, Megan and Damon made their promise of forever to one another. Writing their own vows, being surrounded by family, and tucked away in the sweet corner of Megan’s parent’s yard, their ceremony was absolutely wonderful. “We wrote our own vows, so listening to each other’s and reading our own to each other was extremely emotional. It was overwhelming in a wonderful way!”

Soon after the happy tears and loads of laughter, it was off to the Perry to be greeted by the rest of their wedding guests. The rest of the evening proved to be just as wonderful as the beginning of the day. Between Megan’s fathers welcome speech, the dances, and finishing the night dancing to ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ with everyone circled around the newlyweds, this wedding was truly “beautiful, perfect, and fun!”

Congratulations Megan and Damon! May God bless your marriage.
