Black Star Farms Wedding | Darette + Jason

Darette + Jason’s wedding was set in the beautiful countryside of Suttons Bay. “We took a trip to Traverse City once and thoroughly enjoyed Black Star Farms (the wine, location and people). When we first decided on a wedding we were going to go to Italy, but unfortunately with COVID, this was impossible. We were trying to think of local areas that had nice scenery, great wine and a good atmosphere. Black Star Farms checked all of those boxes for us.”

“We were nervous for everything to come together. It was a push in the last week or so to make sure we had all the preparations done. The weather was our biggest concern because we knew the rain would most likely stop but we weren’t sure the ground would be dry enough. We wanted to capture the beautiful fall foliage.”

And everything came together perfectly. “Everything ended up coming together, and walking out to see how beautiful the alternate location turned out to be will always stick with me.”
