Black Star Farms Wedding | Dre + Sam

Dre + Sam’s wedding day started out a little rainy but ended with lots of luck. “It was raining constantly in the morning and was forecasted to continue during the ceremony, so it was a morning filled with constant weather monitoring. Dre’s parents kept saying that, in Romania, which is where they’re from, rain on the wedding day is actually a sign of good luck for the marriage. The rain stopped just in time for the ceremony, and the sun was shining right as we made our way down the aisle. We think that Romanian luck created the memorable start to an unforgettable day.”

When asked what moments from their wedding stuck out to them the most, Dre + Sam said, “There was one point at the wedding after we finished our sunset pictures and we took a brief pause on our way back and just thought about how this was the first time we had everyone we loved in one spot. It felt important to stop and let it sink in. Obviously, the first look will stay in our hearts forever, too.” Dre expounded on how she felt during the first look. “The private vows that we exchanged during the first look were also pretty emotional. We realized how in sync we were because we both knew what we were going to say to each other.”

When asked to describe their wedding in three words, their response was, “joyous, intimate, and perfect.” Congratulations, Dre + Sam! May Romanian luck always shine brightly on your marriage. It was a joy to be a part of your story.
