Crystal Mountain Resort Wedding | Molly + Jordan

Braving the chilly temperatures, Molly and Jordan’s guests gathered around them in the middle of the woods to witness them pledge the rest of their lives to one another.

Choosing Crystal Mountain Resort as their venue came after being shown around and feeling connected to its space. “…when she took us up to the Art Park and played out how our ceremony would go we just got a feeling that it was the place. We were also considering a Colorado wedding at one point, since that’s where we met, and felt like the ski hills and lifts at Crystal brought a little bit of Colorado in to it all while still making it easier for family and friends to make the trip.”

The morning of their big day, Molly and Jordan were fill with nerves and excitement. Neither could believe the day was finally here – the day they got to marry their best friend. “…I wanted it to all go perfect. I went on a walk around the property to try and ease some nerves before I started to get ready and I just tried to take it all in. I thought about how everyone we love came to town to celebrate with us and I was extremely grateful. I was pretty nervous all day and couldn’t wait to see Molly for our first look.”

For Molly, she awoke on her wedding day with her dress hanging right in the window of her bedroom, ” I was nervous while preparing to go out to the spa but once I got moving and all of my bridesmaids were around, I felt calm. I felt like I knew that this was what I was meant to be doing today. All of this planning leads up to one day, the best day, but I knew that whatever was going to happen that day, was going to happen and it was still going to be the best day for us and everyone else too. I let fate take over from there. Everything happens for a reason, as it did to bring us to this point here today, and we did pretty well I think.”

After their first look, the two soon found themselves up at their ceremony site, about to say “I do!” Both found the moment when Molly was coming down the aisle to be one of the most memorable moments. For Molly, “I started to cry as soon as my dad and I took our first steps towards Jordan. I couldn’t believe this was happening and how fast everything was going. I was trying to be present and remember every moment but that just made me even more emotional. I knew I had made the right decision to marry Jordan at that point.”

And at that very same moment, her best friend was standing at the alter feeling the exact same feelings towards her. ” I could see her coming long before everyone else and I really started to get emotional, she just looked so beautiful.”

Promises, rings, and a kiss sealed their forever, and it was time to celebrate! Bundled up in a heated tent at the base of the mountain, Molly and Jordan’s reception kicked off with loving words from those that matter most to them. “Another moment we remember well was during the speeches before dinner. We were so happy to have Molly’s Dad, Emily and Rob speak about our lives with them and offer advice for our future together. Being able to look out in the crowd and see our families react with tears and laughter made us both so grateful for our amazing support system.”

From beginning to end, Molly and Jordan’s day was calm, yet full of laughter and love. “… the very last song of the night, Piano Man. We were both dancing in the middle while everyone formed a circle around us. Towards the end of the song everyone closed the circle around us and we all sang the final chorus in one big hug. We remember actually feeling all the love from everyone and it was the perfect way to end the reception.”

Congratulations Molly and Jordan! May God bless your marriage.
