Barn Wedding | Maddie + Elijah

“I was pretty nervous, but also insanely excited. I felt like it was all just a dream and that I would wake up soon, but it turned out to be a dream come true.”

Maddie + Elijah’s wedding day was set in the beautiful countryside of Northern Michigan. “We both really wanted to get married in a barn, and we felt this was the perfect place for us. Elijah has known the owners of this venue for most of his life and has been to many events there, so being able to be married in the barn was also very meaningful.”

As the rain came down, Maddie + Elijah made final preparations in the company of their friends and family. “During the morning of the wedding it was very special for me to have some alone time with my mom as we both got ready for the big day. She had done so much to make the wedding possible so it was very special to just slow down and enjoy the moment we were sharing.”

As preparations were completed and the rain rolled away, it was soon time for Maddie + Elijah to be united as one. “During the ceremony we both felt the ‘this is it’ moment- the moment that our lives will be changed forever as two became one. The emotions and excitement we felt as we looked into each other’s eyes knowing that we were about to marry our soulmate was (and still is) truly indescribable.”

From a beautiful barn ceremony to photos, dinner, and dancing, Maddie + Elijah’s wedding was a celebration to remember. Congratulations, Maddie + Elijah!
