Walloon Lake Inn Wedding | Becky + Michael

Becky + Michael chose an intimate and elegant location for their wedding day. “Michael and I are both from Michigan. We grew up vacationing in the north and northwest parts of the state and couldn’t think of a more beautiful place to get married. We knew we wanted a smaller and more intimate wedding, but one that still had a formal, elegant feel, and (being big food lovers) somewhere that had delicious food that focused on quality and fresh or local ingredients. The Walloon Lake Inn checked every single one of these boxes.”

Their day was filled with special moments, but when we asked what stuck out the most to them, Becky’s response was, “Spending the morning connecting with each other just set the tone for the whole day. I got nervous about being the center of attention as the day went on but couldn’t have felt more confident about marrying Michael. I loved spending so much time with my mom and sisters in the morning; they all live in Michigan hours away from me and it’s a rarity that we’re all in the same place.
I loved that Michael and I saved our first look for the walk down the aisle and one of my favorite things all day was seeing how happy/emotional he got as my Dad and I walked to meet him. One last “favorite” was dancing with my Dad; he has a lot of rough health days and can’t always move much, so it was special to share a dance together.”

They described their day as “blessed, loved, and humbled.” What a beautiful description for a beautiful day! Congratulations, Becky + Michael. Thank you for letting us be a part of it.
