Walloon Lake Wedding | Rachel + Robert

When asked how they would describe their wedding in three words, they said “Moving, Spiritual, and Amazingly fun… I realize that’s more than three words” which holds nothing but the truth.

Rachel and Robert spent the day celebrating their love on the gorgeous Walloon Lake. These two fell in love with Walloon Inn the moment that they saw it. The town “is so quaint, has a lot of character” which was everything and more that this couple was looking for.

Rachel got ready in her suit the morning of with her friends, sister and mom. Excitement just filled the room and the bride to be was beyond ready for the day to begin. “Early in the morning I was relaxed, but while getting ready I was nervous we were not going to be ready on time!” But, the bride was ready to go just in time to leave for the ceremony.

“The most memorable moment of the day for me was saying our vows and exchanging rings. Holding hands with Rob in front of everyone, the priest and God was very special”. Rachel and Rob held their beautiful ceremony at the Saint Francis Church in Petoskey. The sun was shinning through the glass windows and everyone was filled with love watching the couple confess their love for each other.

As the night began to wind down, the energy did not. The reception held lots of tears and even more smiles. “My sisters speech was very memorable, and tear provoking… Our first dance and dancing with my uncle was also very emotional” said Rachel.

What a unforgettable day! Congratulations and may God bless your marriage!
